Next Group Meeting Feb. 14

What a great party Sunday. Thank you, Todd & Jill for hosting the SB shindig. Our next group meeting will be the Saturday after next, Feb. 14. Since it is Valentine's Day, the topic (led by Mark Tillman) will be, "who loves their spouse the most?" Have a great week!

Do we meet this week?

It's a first Saturday. So no meeting, right?

The girls are meeting at Corner Bakery this Wed at 7 pm, though?

Travel on 407 towards Lantana. Turn north on Copper Canyon Rd (this is before you get to Lantana). Turn left into Canyon Oaks subdivision (first left you will come to). Take an immediate left onto Canyon Oaks Dr. Come down until the road turns right and we are on the inside corner.

5:30 pm until it's over???

I'll make chili and cornbread. I'll have paper products. If you all could bring drinks and other snacks, that would be great!!

Small Group mtg - Jan. 24, 2009

What a great time together last night. It was so good to have the Arthurs and Amens with us. We will have our Super Bowl party next Sunday at the Hawkins' home. Jill and Colleen will initiate coordination of the party. Details, including directions, will be communicated this week via the blog.

Our next Small Group mtg. will be Feb 7th.

Membership Covenant Timeline 2009:

• Early January: Meeting with group to discuss new covenant.
• Jan 10-11 through Feb. 14-15: Matt - Teaching series on the church.
• Jan 31: Covenant available to sign.
• Feb 9 and 10: Town Hall Forums for Covenant Members in HV Worship Center, 7pm.
• Mar 7: Signed Covenant Due
  

Welcome to our small group blog

Hello friends, this is my first venture into blog world. We will be tweaking how we use this together, especially in the beginning. I believe this blog can be used for ongoing encouragement in our individual and corporate spiritual growth - as well as being a tool for us to stay up to date with the goings on in our small group and church.
